  • Advise on strategy for up to 5 different productions at a time, including developing editorial direction of new projects, generating production schedules and creating detailed outlines for upcoming narrative shows

  • Manage production of 6-episode narrative podcast series Fifteen: Inside the Daniel Marsh Murders, reaching the #2 position on Apple Podcast’s Top Shows, Top Series and Top True Crime charts

    • Work individually and alongside executive producer and host to script, line edit, track narration, sound design and master 2 full episodes

    • Supervise team of 3 producers to script and assemble an additional 4 episodes, guiding the team to produce a cohesive, narratively sound podcast

    • Provide editorial feedback to producers and host, offering guidance via script rewrites and structural revisions

    • Maintain production calendar to meet fast-moving internal and external deadlines

    • Collaborate directly with executive producers at Paramount to edit, fact-check and incorporate notes from legal & standards into each episode

  • Researched and pitched at least 3 news stories per day, with topics ranging from domestic and international politics to science, business and beyond

  • Edited newsy and conversational interview segments to fit into 10-minute episodes

  • Worked with host to research interview topics, script segment intros and write host questions

  • Booked relevant guests from within the Axios newsroom and other outside organizations
